August declined because she was concerned about her personal body's safety, not because of the fact that the guy could have been homosexual. A public humiliation on Twitter resulted in August taking her own life on the 5th of December in 2017, 2 days after the specific tweet. Autopsy reveiled that her body was filled with cocaine and prescription medicine¹.
